Mayor’s Message - 2011
Welcome to the 2011 Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival!
If this is your first visit to the Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival—welcome! This is an amazing festival that brings the community and visitors together in a celebration of one of our region’s sweetest treasures. If you’re a regular at the Festival, you already know that you’re in for a day of local maple syrup, wonderful entertainment, and of course – the Pancake House.
Springwater is a thriving Township of approximately 18,000 residents, and truly a municipality of unique communities with opportunities to cultivate, grow and prosper. Events such as the Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival allow Springwater Township to be known as a prosperous community with market opportunities that enable new business investment and economic growth across a broad range of industry, supported by our Economic Development strategy.
On behalf of the new 2010 – 2014 Township of Springwater Council, staff and residents, I would like to thank you for supportng our community, and participating in this wonderful event. I hope you enjoy your time at the 2011 Elmvale Maple Syrup Festival, and we hope to see you back in Springwater Township again soon!
I would also like to thank all the volunteers and festival organizers who take the time to put this event together. Your dedication is truly amazing. I know that because of your efforts, this year’s festival will be another great success.
